Wits End Stables Riding School
For your own safety and peace of mind, please note the following points:
You must book in advance. On your first visit you must fill in a Rider Registration Form. You can print one and bring it with you if you prefer. A cancellation fee of 50% will be charged if we are given less than 24hrs notice.
You must inform us if you have any medical condition, impediments or are on regular medication. Please complete Q11 on the Rider Registration Form fully.
Whilst riding, all customers must wear hard hats, approved to current B.S.I. standard and that have not suffered any hard knocks. Suitable hats are also svailable for hire.
Suitable clothing must be worn. Sensible footwear, which should be sturdy with a flat sole and small heel should also be worn. Sandals & trainers are not suitable. Jewellery can get caught and so is not safe. Coats and jackets should be fastened or removed. Whips, if necessary, should be carried and used correctly.
All visiting children must be supervised at all times by an adult for their safety, and should not throw stones, or RUN on the yard etc. under any circumstances
Strictly NO SMOKING on site. The only designated smoking area is outside the double gates
Customers’ dogs are not allowed on our yard, for safety reasons.
There is zero tolerance for threatening or abusive behaviour, or obscene language on the premises at any time.
Do not enter the ménage whilst a lesson is in progress without permission
No riders allowed under 4 years old for insurance purposes
Please do not feed our horses/ponies, unless given permission and supervision
